【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesapracticalestimateofnonburnableresiduesincommerciallyavailablegraphitematerials.Theashvaluesdeterminedbythistestmethodareofuseincomparingtherelativepurityofvariousgradesofgraphite.Tofacilitateuse,thistestmethodinstitutessimplificationsthatprecludetheabilitytodetermineabsolutelytheashvaluesofthetestgraphitematerialduetouncontrolledsourcesoftracecontamination.Thistestmethodisnotintendedforuseindeterminingtheashcontentofpurifiedgraphites,forexample,nuclearmaterials.Therelationshipbetweenthemineralcontentofagraphitesampleandtheashcontentofthatsampleisunknownandisnotdeterminedbytheapplicationofthistestmethod.1.1Thistestmethodprovidesapracticaldeterminationfortheashcontentinagraphitesample.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
