【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversstraightseam,double-submerged-arc-weldedsteelpipe(Note1)suitableforhigh-pressureservice,16in.(406mm)andlargerinoutsidediameter,withwallthicknessesfrom5/16to11/2in.(7.9to38mm).Thepipeisintendedforfabricationoffittingsandaccessoriesforcompressororpump-stationpiping.Pipeorderedtothisspecificationshallbesuitableforbending,flanging(vastoning),corrugating,andsimilaroperations.Note1-AcomprehensivelistingofstandardizedpipedimensionsiscontainedinANSIB36.10.Note2-Theterm"doublewelded"iscommonlyusedinthegasandoiltransmissionindustry,forwhichthispipeisprimarilyintended,toindicateweldingwithatleasttwoweldpasses,ofwhichoneisontheoutsideofthepipeandoneontheinside.Forsomesizesofthepipecoveredbythisspecification,itbecomesexpedienttousemanualwelding,inwhichcasetheprovisionsofNote3shallbefollowed.1.2Nineclassesofpipe,basedonminimumyieldpointrequirements,arecoveredasindicatedinTable1.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Themetricequivalentsofinch-poundunitsmaybeapproximate.1.4Thefollowinghazardcaveatappliestothetestmethodsportion,Sections9and10,only.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
